This guide is meant to show you some examples of what you can set up with your eCaupo delivery shop. Build brilliant promotions, discounts and offers quickly and easily yourself. We've brought you eight examples in this article.

Lunch and evening menus

A simple way to make a special offer is the daily menu extension. You centrally define in the opening hours on which days and until what time the lunch period applies. Now you can pick out individual dishes and configure them so they only appear on the lunch menu or only on the evening menu.

Buy three, pay two

This is just one example, but it illustrates that you can also configure menus where your customer receives one or more free items once a certain condition is met. For example, your customer could pick 3 pizzas from a list of pizzas that reach a minimum size and a minimum value, so they then receive a small pizza for free.

Menus with a fixed price

Define a menu with a fixed price. Then offer the customer the option of assembling certain items from your categories into their menu. That could, for example, be a lunch menu consisting of a drink, a pizza and a salad. You define the conditions, and also on which days and at what time the menu can be purchased. By the way: the shop can also handle pre-orders.

General discounts

A general discount is a voucher that you configure and set up as a permanent discount. This discount is then granted for as long as you have the permanent discount enabled. You could, for example, set up a promotion week with a 10% price reduction. Or a football World Cup summer promotion with a permanent discount of 5% during the summer. The permanent discount then applies automatically in the cart – without the customer having to enter anything.

Self-pickup discounts

You want to reward customers who collect their order themselves? Just like the general discount, you can also set up a self-pickup discount that applies in the cart. That way customers could save 5%, for example, if they collect the order in person.

Vouchers for specific items

In issue 1 of our customer magazine you already learned a lot about vouchers. They are very extensively developed in eCaupo. For example, you can configure a voucher so that it can only be applied to a specific category. Collecting points with the customer loyalty card

The customer loyalty card is also a useful instrument to grant customers a discount. What's more: your customers' passion for collecting is awakened, and they only receive the discount when they redeem their points for a value voucher. Item offers

Here eCaupo distinguishes between individual item offers and weekday offers. You have the option to quickly and easily reduce the price of individual items. You specify the period, and the customer sees that the item currently has an offer price. But you can also define fixed days and discount several items for these weekdays. That way you could, for example, set up a pizza day: every Wednesday all pizzas 20% cheaper, or Thursdays all schnitzels for €8
