We thought about how we can support you on the topic of sustainability

Everyone is talking about it, and nature is showing us why. We need to live more sustainably, and your customers' buying behaviour is changing. So that you can keep winning them over to your delivery service in the future, we programmed an extension you can activate in your eCaupo delivery shop.

In our Bauhaus demo shop we have enabled this extension so you can test it from the customer's perspective.

The eCaupo deposit system is a feature that lets you lend refill boxes. The idea is simple:

When ordering, the customer can indicate that they would like their food in reusable packaging. These could, for example, be aluminium pots you have purchased. The customer pays a deposit amount that you have defined.

With their next order they can indicate that they would like a refill box again, while at the same time returning a previous box to your driver. So they simply swap it for a new one.

The second option is that the customer only wants to return the refill box. In this case, the cart calculates the deposit refund.

Many configuration options

You have plenty of options to set up this extension according to your wishes. For example, you decide how high the deposit is and whether the reusable deposit packaging may only be ordered by regulars.
