Why doesn't eCaupo take commission on orders?

eCaupo is a commission-free shop system that we operate for you at a fixed monthly amount. But why don't we actually take commission?

Many delivery portals and ordering systems charge commission on your orders. Sometimes this goes as far as you paying up to 20% in fees for one of your customer's orders. On a typical order of about €23, that quickly amounts to up to €5 in fees and several thousand euros per month.

Is that fair? We believe it's not. In our view, what's fair is a fixed monthly amount with which we can provide you with an impeccable service. Everything beyond that is your business... With just €39 or €49 we manage to offer you this service. Because we run a lean operation, work intuitively and in a modern way, and because you and we are a team. Through your contributions we earn our living, and you generate your revenue through our delivery service. So what could be more natural than working together as partners?
