As a classic restaurant, can I also use a pickup system without delivery?

You have a restaurant and want to offer your customers pickup of their food? But offer delivery only at certain times, or not at all? That's no problem and relatively simple to implement. At the same time, you benefit from many additional features such as automatic table reservation and a booking calendar, completely free of charge. Here's how:

Set up the eCaupo ordering system

First, we set up an ordering system for you in your preferred design. We're also happy to integrate it into your homepage for you, so the customer doesn't have to jump elsewhere. The ordering system for restaurants is basically the same as for delivery services, but we configure it especially for you. For example, you can switch off delivery completely; customers can then only choose pickup. If you do offer delivery at certain times after all, it's quickly and easily activated, because eCaupo distinguishes between delivery times and pickup times.

You can also use online payment. That way your customers can already pay via PayPal, and things move quickly at your counter.

Receive orders

You receive orders via your own eCaupo online ordering system or your own app. You can print them on a receipt and prepare them. There's also the option of sending the customer an automatic SMS confirmation, e.g. when the order is almost ready for pickup.

We include a booking calendar so you always have an overview of the online pre-orders. The customer then has to specify a time at which they want to collect the order. That gives you better planning.

And the calendar can do even more: you can assign slots so your kitchen doesn't catch fire. You configure how many orders you accept per 15-minute or 30-minute slot. If a slot is already fully booked, the customer has to choose a different pickup time. Isn't that great for your kitchen staff? That way you avoid frustration for your customers.

Those were the features for your customers and food pickup. If you want, you can also use further features free of charge. For example, an employee timesheet, where your employees record their arrival and departure times or manage holidays and absences. Phone order taking is fully integrated too. So the customer doesn't pick their items in the shop; instead, your employee does this on the phone via a quick and simple interface.
